Ministries/Boards - Diaconate

The Diaconate constitutes the spiritual board of the church. It oversees that the religious work of the church in its various organizations is conducted in a manner to best serve the whole church.

The Diaconate members prepare and assist the minister in the administration of the sacraments, aid him/her in pastoral work, care for the poor of the church and comfort the sick and afflicted.The Diaconate has direction of the benevolence and of the missionary activities of the church. They select speakers for the pulpit in the absence of the minister.

Subcommittees of the Diaconate include Worship, Membership, Visitation, Flower and Benevolence.
