Rev. Mary Elizabeth Biedron, Senior Minister

Mary (Mimi) Biedron was installed as Senior Minister of North Congregational Church in February 2011. She moved from First Congregational Church of Toledo to become Associate Minister of North Church in 1998. Mimi and her husband, Glenn, have three daughters. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Methodist Theological School in Ohio, Mimi has long served churches addressing religious education concerns. She recently served as president of the Southeast Michigan Congregation Clergy and was president of the Farmington Area Interfaith Association.

Rev. Dr. Mark P. Jensen, Minister Emeritus

Mark Jensen came to North Congregational Church from Boston with his wife, Liane, and their son and daughter in 1980. Recent community service includes the Community Foundation Board of Trustees and Presidency of the Farmington Area Interfaith Association. In 1999 he served as moderator of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Mark is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Colgate Rochester Divinity School.

Mark retired from North Congregational Church in October 2010, after more than 30 years of service as Senior Minister.

Laurie Meeker, Director of Music

Kim Marlinga, Organist

Kim Marlinga has also been a long time church member, singing in the choir and playing piano. She became the church's organist in 1998 and is director of the both the adult and youth bell choirs. She earned her bachelor's & master's degrees in Music Education from the University of Arizona in Tucson and studied with Elizabeth Chadwick and Carolyn Dove. Kim is a retired school teacher having taught music and drama in Michigan for 30 years.
