North Church Women

The North Church Women meet every Tuesday for Spiritual growth and social activities. We begin the day with Bible study at 10:00 AM followed by a number of different activities including:

• Various speakers of interest
• Field trips to museums, other churches/temples, or locations of charities supported by our benevolence
• Impromptu "fun" days (Ladies' Choice)
• Business meetings held once a month with devotions by our members

We always include a delicious lunch -- sometimes "in" but often "out" at a nearby restaurant. Also, a special musical program is planned around Christmas.

The North Church Women association prides itself on its support of various charities and devotes 3/4 of its annual budget to such causes as:

• Seedlings, a Braille bookstore in Livonia specializing in childrens books
• The Good News Gang, a church sponsored organization which helps troubled and needy children in Detroit
• Girlstown of Belleville

The North Church Women find all of the above a great source of mutual support and fellowship. We invite and encourage ALL to joins us (some of our programs draw men, too). You don't even need to be a church member to participate. Come one and all to share the fun!!
