Music - Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is an exceptional group of 25-30 singers, dedicated to bringing music to the North Church worship services.

Their repertoire, accompanied and a cappella, includes traditional sacred selections, spirituals, contemporary Christian and everything in between. Most often the Choir is accompanied by organ or piano, but they have also enjoyed working with large and small professional instrumental ensembles of strings, woodwinds and brass, or just piano, bass and drums.

The Choir is also supplemented by a professional quartet. Brandy Ellis (soprano), Leah Dexter (mezzo-soprano), Theodore Hoelter (tenor), and James Wilking (baritone) who also sing solos on a rotating basis.

The Chancel Choir sings at Sunday services, September through June, as well as special services throughout the year.
