We are monitoring the situation with the coronavirus, including updates and guidance from State and local officials. Should it be necessary to cancel Church we will follow our normal emergency notification protocol (similar to closing Church for weather). We are also developing contingency plans if Church gatherings have to be suspended for an extended period.
Meanwhile, please note and follow these guidelines.
Precautionary Measures You can help prevent yourself from getting and spreading COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses – by following these steps:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds. Use 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
Refrain from shaking hands or hugging (even the greeters!).
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact such as kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are sick.
Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or shirt sleeve, not your hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as toys and doorknobs, especially if someone is sick.
Space yourselves out, do not congregate in large groups.
Stay home when you are sick.
North Church has Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizers available.
Use them liberally while you are in our building.
After use of Fellowship Hall, please clean the carts and counters. Cleaning supplies have been provided.
Always wash hands and use food prep gloves when touching food. (donut holes count!!)
Please use the tongs provided when choosing your donuts.
We have coordinated with our building cleaning contractor regarding appropriate cleaning of surfaces and the building.
